Absolutely love, Hills Flat Chainsaw repair shop. As a senior, I buy my tools from here. The last two times I've come in with what I thought were blown up tools. They've managed to send me out the door by taking part a couple of screws within minutes everything was done. I really feel these guys take great care and pride in their work and I couldn't give them higher praise. Great job guys keep it up.!

Hill Flat is the BEST place to buy appliances. Tim Lloyd was Fantastic, so helpful so knowledgeable on all the appliances! I love the appliances I bought. GE Cafe Double oven, induction Monogram cooktop and 2 GE dishwashers. All amazing. We had one small mishap and Tim fixed it RIGHT away. I also bought everything on sale and was not ready to put in the kitchen and needed it all to be delivered to storage. After kitchen was completed Hills Flat came back to my storage and brought it to the house at no charge with great service. Nevada County is so lucky to have such a great appliance center with EXCELLENT service!Thank you Hills Flat!

Top notch service provided by Tim in the Appliance Department of Hills Flat Lumber. I looked online for hours to find a refrigerator that would fit our kitchen. In 5 minutes Tim was able to identify my current model and recommend a new model to fit my specifications. Within two hours I purchased the refrigerator and had it delivered and installed. And, at a fantastic price. You can't go wrong buying appliances at Hills Flat Lumber. Ask for Tim!

Hills Flat is an old fashion family hardware store. It doesn't always have everything, and isn't the fastest, but it sure is a cool place. There are tons of friendly staff. Curiosities are around inside and some neat non-mainstream brands. I plan to make many visits in the future.

We are very happy customers. Tim the appliance manager is extremely knowledgable and helpful. My wife and I could not be more pleased with our Bertazzoni Range and microwave. This is an outstanding appliance. Tim even helped us with recomendations on cooking with a convection oven. Our GE refrigerator had issues. Tim was amazing again. Our replacement is outstanding. We will be life long customers!

Incredible experience for shopping chainsaws. Maybe one the most helpful customer service interactions. Rylan (spelling?) is a PRO, his knowledge of chainsaws was impressive and makes me 100% likely to return to buy more from him in the future. I left two broken chainsaws for them to fix too.

He asked the various things I was shopping for an guided me throughout the store to quickly get everything I needed. He advised me on my project and what I should get to do it properly. Rylan in the rental department is hands down, awesome. A piece of my generator broke and he was determined/willing to fix it. I brought in a very worn down car key that wouldn’t even turn in my car anymore to the Key Department here and they did an AMAZING job, went above and beyond to make a key copy that, despite how damaged the original was, worked in the ignition and got me home! Staff member Riley worked quickly and efficiently, above and beyond, trialed and errored a few times, but got my car to start, saving me a tow truck bill!! Both Riley and manager Danny worked incredibly hard to help me and I will definitely be recommending this business to my friends. Staff was kind, helpful, hardworking, and skilled, with amazing problem solving skills. 10/10 recommend and would use again.
