I bought this washer and equivalent dryer in Oct of 2025. I was told that the pedestals were back ordered. I write this on Apr 26 2026 and still have no pedestals. Now I am reading that these pedestals have been discontinued? I would defenitely NOT recommend buying from Bosch. I would not have bought these without pedestals. I have a very bad back and the bending for these gives me pain.

I love my new washer, we upgraded from 500er series to the 800er series and it does such a better job. Before I was struggling with foam leaking during the process and sometimes smelly cloth after washing. This is over with this well worth it upgraded washer. I love it!

BOSCH 800 Series Compact Washer

I had this washer for a couple of months now. Works, like a clock, very quiet and the clothes come out clean. I love the multitude of wash options it offers and the ability to configure the selected cycle in terms of additional water, soaking, number of rinses etc. The easiest way to configure all options is through the Bosch app, which also notifies you when the cycle is done. My washer is in the garage so it's super convenient because I can't hear it. The washer is about a third less than my previous top loader, but I have no problem loading queen size sheets and running laundry for a family of four.

Our Bosch washer is excellent. So many options, easily chosen. Detergent added once, machine uses what it needs. A pair of pants had road salt stains. Tossed in with other pants, all came out clean. And it's a good looking appliance that beautifies the area.

We live in a historic house meaning that while the woodwork is awesome, fitting in modern appliances, takes a bit of creativity. There's no room for a full size washer and dryer. But there is room for this compact unit and it's sister dryer. First the controlls are easy to see and use. Second all of the common settings are available plus with the easy yo use app, you can customize Washington for any particular laundry need. I also appreciate that if I need to clean out rhe unit-say the grandson leaves something special in a pocket, the access point for clearing stuff is located in front. Finally, the item that I love the most is that I can fill up the laundry soap container and the forget about it, with the washer proving the exact amount of detergent needed. Less waste, and clean clothes. My last Bosch washer lasted 25 years and this one looks yo do the same.

Ordered this from Lowes. Upon delivery and without any prior access to information indicating that this machine requires a special plug. I only bought the washer and it has a unique plug, not common. ANY retail store selling this product as well as the BOSCH corporation should make it CLEAR that this machine requires an uncommon power source. I spent a day trying to figure out if the plug was European or what. Had to hire an electrician to install the proper power source. In the age of information, both Bosch and Lowes spectacularly failed this simple bit of information. It should be made very clear to any buyer. Have only just got the machine going after 2 days. Best Buy tried to help but they really didnt know anything about this plug either. Havent even gotten to do a wash yet but the set up process was a nightmare because of this lack of information.

This washer is so much better than expected. Our 20 year old Asko gave up the ghost so we were in the market for a new washer. This Bosch has a larger capacity and the DOS automatic detergent dispenser makes doing laundry a breeze. We experienced a bit of a learning curve and still have the manual on the counter. Like anything new, It requires patience and practice.

Despite all of its connectivity "features", its really impossible to tell what the machine has decided to do with a cycle! (Finally a tech that was fixing another problem told me to use the "Jeans" cycle.

It's amazing that Bosch's top of the line machine doesn't have a permanent press cycle! Customer support (and supervisor) confirmed that it didn't! All customer support could do is read the manual to me. Maybe someone from Engineering will call me back?

The perfect little machine

Compact enough to not waste space, large enough to handle big loads with ease. Robust and smart enought so that my laundry comes out perfect every time with ease. And it's fairly quiet, which is great in our small apartment. The stain removal settings are a wonder! Even old stains have come right out with the new machine. I haven't been using the iDOS system, though it seems like a great feature. I just don't use liquid detergents. Love how it talks to the dryer to get it ready to receive loads.
