My wife has wanted a gas range for a long time as it gives constant heat for canning. So far this range has been great after several months. I think the frying pans heat up much more quickly than with our old electric stove. I did connect the stove to WiFi, but I'm not sure how much I'll use the app to turn on the stove remotely. I would definitely recommend this stove to anyone looking for a gas range.

This oven broke in 8 months with very little use. It is deemed unrepairable and the customer service is so horrible that I have now been without an oven for a month and a half. Unacceptable and infuriating. I would not purchase a GE, and I would not do business with a company that sells such an unreliable product. Not to mention the absolutely ridiculous lack of customer support.

Usually I've been a loyal GE customer (buying all my refrigerators and other small appliances from GE), however 2-12 years ago, I made a regrettable mistake of purchasing a Samsung gas range! Through an "Act of God" (well that's what the power company said!) the power company sent a surge into my home and fried the control board in the Samsung range, as well as my other electronic appliances, I learned that this part had been discontinued! After extensive research with various vendors, they all informed me that GE is the best manufacturer for stocking spare parts. I love the clean look of the slide-in range that shows off more of my backsplash! I have returned to the GE fold and will never buy any other brand. Now I'm hoping that I will be able to get my $50 rebate, and perhaps win $250! These funds will go to my very own "Act of God" Relief Fund! Thanks so much,

Bottom Drawer Dissatisfaction Pn

We have no complaints about the range although we are still learning how to use it. We were out quite a bit of money when the side strips that we purchased for the counter that were for this range did not fit. Also opening the drawer under the oven is extremely difficult because the grip at the top of the drawer is way too small for 88 year old hands. Is there a strap or something we could attach to the drawer to make it easier to open. Thank you.

Very disappointed in the quality of this range. Top burners work well but there is a problem with the broiler. It is hit or miss. I have to press broiler several times or toggle between bake and broil to get it to turn on. Also hi seems to not be high but lo. There is also a temperature problem with bake/convection. Less than a month old and problems from the get-go. I™€™m probably going to have to call service. Cheaply made storage drawer. And don™€™t get me startede customer on the fact that they don™€™t even provide a manual expecting customers to print it out!!! GE tries to greenwash this by saying they are being ™€œgood stewards™€ but in reality this is just another way to provide less value at inflated prices. This will be my last GE appliance.

We have had this gas range for just one week, so I can't comment on longevity. However, we got it two days before Thanksgiving, so it's had a pretty good workout. The only features we have not tried are the air fry and wifi (unlikely to use the wifi as I'm a bit of Luddite about "smart homes"). The range and oven function beautifully, cook evenly, are easy to operate. The steam clean feature, in my opinion, is a big improvement over the high temp dry clean approach that was part of our last oven (the high heat predecessor damaged the control electronics, and cost us big $$$ early in the life of our last range/oven). The burner caps and burner heads are removable, so the top of the range and the burner heads are easy to clean (in our last range only the caps came off, and the heads accumulated stuff that we couldn't completely clean and, over time, made the flames uneven). The appearance fits well with our other appliances.

Now that I've had my new range for a few months, I want to share my delight with it. I'm amazed at the oven temperature accuracy (quite a contrast to my old one). Additionally, the burners are powerful, but also truly adjustable; you can actually simmer, if you can believe it! BTW, one feature I didn't think would matter is actually a big hit with me. The no-preheat frozen pizza option really works and cuts prep time almost in half. I don't use it often, but the results are so much better than my previous oven and I had to mention it. The oven has lots of features I haven't tried yet, but after three and a half months I'm a huge fan.

Don™€™t like both the big burner in the front. Should be one big one and one small one in the front same in the back. When you turn the oven on, cannot hear the ringerwhen it has reached the temp that you want. Tried fixing it per your directions and still can™€™t hear it. First place this is not the stove I ordered. They said the one I ordered was no longer being made and they replaced it with. This was not happy with this situation at all. I do not like the grill on top of the stove.

New Oven for Christmas

Love this Stove as its the 1st new one I have had in my life. I wish one of the smaller burners were up front instead of both small burners being in the back. Its a bit hard to keep clean as the burners sit deep above the grates. The oven takes a while to preheat, but cooks very quickly so you do have to watch things as they will be done before the time.

The stove is white and beautiful. We are still trying put no preheat airfry and other Oven settings. Lots of settings to play with but not so much that you wouldnt know where to start. Its easy to connect to wifi. One thing i find a little odd is the black rubber lining along the front side by te two front burners. Never had a stove that had that on top of the stove. Worried that in the long run it will need to be replaced.

Unfortunately I have to tell you that on the customer service end, this was not a great experience for me. The delivery driver told me that my specific model didn't come with a owner manual. I contacted Home Depot and the appliances representative told me that they didn't sell me this Range GE did..she said that she would email me a copy of the manual. But they couldn't use their ink to print one out. However I did go to the Home Depot in person, where a customer service lady was nice enough to print me a manual out. This mishap, began with the delivery driver.

At first I wasn't sure if I was going to like it, but now I'm in love. I like the fact that the racks have rubber tips on the bottom so as not to scratch the stove top and are lighter weight. I'm 4'10" tall so when I clean the top of stove and lean up against the knobs they don't turn on you have to push in and turn. There is a red light that turns on when I'm using the burners. I have a couple of very heavy Le Creuset cooking pots and when I need to simmer soups or stews I don't have to lift them to back burner. There is so much more to say so if you like to cook, try it you like it.

The burners are hot! It's taken a bit of time to learn how to gauge the flame for the kind of cooking I want to do. Love the continuous grates across the surface. Haven't tried the center flat top cooking surface yet, but it looks to be a convenient alternative to hauling out an electric griddle. I will say the only negative is that the grates are quite heavy.

Pretty, but Temperatures Hard to Regulate

While this stove has many positives -- it is very attractive, is easy to clean so far, has a selection of well-sized burners -- we are struggling with temperature, both on the stove top and in the oven. The burners are EXTREMELY hot and must be turned to very low settings to prevent burning food. If there's a way to regulate the burner flames, I've not yet discovered it. I've found that I need to reduce the oven temperature anywhere from 25 to 50 degrees from what recipes and previous experience required in order not to overcook or over-bake food. Having said all that, I have to add that my biggest disappointment is with the drawer below the oven. It is lightweight and flimsy and gets very warm when the oven is in use. In my very small kitchen, I rely on that space for some storage and I'm having to rethink how I manage my cookware space. Another disappointment is that GE did not provide a paper copy of an owner's manual. It has to be accessed online, which is a significant inconvenience. When one buys a major appliance like this, having a print owner's manual provided does not seem too much to ask. I remain hopeful that we will get more comfortable with the stove's features and that it will give us many years of good service.
