Great basic stand mixer

Does exactly as advertised, there are several speed settings, and the dough hook works great. Only complaint is that when I am kneading bread doughs the machine shakes quite a bit due to how thick the dough is. Also, it's definitely on the louder side in terms of appliances. Performance is fantastic :)

I bought the GE stand mixer because I like how sleek and classy it looks. The machine is very sturdy and well built. I wanted to keep the GE stand mixer but I had to return it. The bowl is just too large to througly knead pretzel dough. So I would not recommend buying this stand mixer if you usually bake a single batch of cookies or a loaf of bread.On the other hand, if you are used to making multiple batches of cookies and cakes at once. The GE stand mixer is more than capable of doing the job.

Overall good product. Is compatible with Kitchenaid attachments. Engine heats up a bit if you're using the dough hook at a high speed. Might look higher end if you're mixing doughs very frequently. Product is extremely aesthetic.

I was waiting for the KitchenAid to go on sale as I couldn't justify spending over $400. My entire kitchen is GE (dish, wall oven, stove top, microwave, fridge) and I love them all. So, once I signed up for GE emails I got one stating this was on sale. On a whim, I bought it. It's fantastic and I literally saved $200 over the similar KA. It feels well made and works very well. Only used a few times so far to make bread but will definitely use it a lot.

My wife has wanted one of these forever, and clearly i should have gotten her one sooner, based on the amount of amazing baked goods she's made since getting it. This machine has some weight to it, it seems very heavy duty and like a solid appliance. It is easy to set up, use, and clean. I like how it has a splatter shield so you're not sloshing and splashing whatever you're mixing everywhere. It works very well and cuts down some of your prep time when baking. The bowl and accessories are dishwasher safe, so its a breeze to clean. It's a great machine and will get used a lot with the holidays coming up, I volunteer to be the taste tester!

This is great for kneading dough. The dough attachment is a game changer. It was nice to set the stand mixer on low and let it do all the work. The beater attachment didn't get the sides as close as I would like but mixed well. The whip attachment whipped up egg whites good.

I got this mixer for my 12 year old daughter who likes to bake bread and dog biscuits. The lift feature makes changing attachments easy, putting the bowl on the stand is simple and takes just a turn and attachments are easy to clean. My daughter was able to figure it out, but said it would have been nice to have directions.

I have used a hand mixer for almost 25 years. This GE Stand Mixer is a dream! I remember my mother's mixer - two beaters, glass bowls. It was messy to use. This GE mixer was a total surprise. Besides its sleek appearance, it is easy to use. I love the attachments and lid for the stainless bowl. The only complaint I have with this mixer is it had no instructions, and I could find nothing on-line.

Well I got my GE Stand mixer about two weeks ago. Well I went to work. Mixing up cookie dough. Bread dough, pie crust, whipped jello and mashed potatoes. Ok you get it you can do almost anything with this mixer. It makes mixing up your cookies a breeze. You can have fresh homemade breads, what a treat. It tilts up to make adding ingredients easier. The mashed potatoes are so light they just melt in your mouth. This mixer will make you excited to get back in the Kitchen. It's great for a gift for yourself or someone else. A great product from a great company!!

The mixer itself is satisfactory. Strong motor, stylish build and finish. Love the clear cover that goes over bowl during mixing. It even has an opening in the cover to add more mixtures while mixing. The bowl is a good size and love the handle on the bowl, makes for holding the bowl while pouring easy. There is also a place in the front to add other attachments such as a meat grinder or pasta maker.
Now, the cons: The first day while operating the mixer, the locking mechanism broke. It would still lock the top down, but wouldn't lock in place while it was in the up position. I ended up taking it apart and found that a screw stripped out that holds the plastic holder down. After fixing that, the locking mechanism now works in both the down and up position.
The attachment's that it comes with: While they get the job done for mixing, the quality feels of a "Cheap Aluminum" compared to others that I have used.

I got this beautiful stand mixer last week and I cannot say enough good things about it! It is so gorgeous. It came with all the attachments that I need to make just about any kind of cakes, snacks, and even bread!! It stands out in my kitchen and is so easy to use! It's also very easy to clean which is important to me!! Highly recommend this product!!

This stand mixer is the first we have ever owned after 47 years of marriage. First recipe was pizza dough. Very easy and quick to complete. Took about 5 minutes yielding about two pounds. With 7 speeds, tilt head, and 350 watts of power, the chore, was not a chore. Cake batter, biscuits dough and bread dough were all so easy. We will retire our 47 year old hand mixer will move to the garage sail table.

The GE Stand Mixer was delivered on Sunday, and I was amazed at the beautiful grayish color as well as the sturdiness of the mixer. There are three attachments, one for baking, kneading, and whisking. It also comes with a shield that can be used for pouring. I couldn't wait to try it! The ingredients mixed well, the sound of the mixer is not overpowering. I can't wait to bake something else! I'm in love with the appearance and performance of this beautiful mixer. I've already told my family/friends about it.
